The technical analysis of the Lufthansa stock price chart on daily timeframe shows #D-LHA, Daily is retracing down toward the 200-day moving average MA(200) after hitting 31-month high two weeks ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 9.13. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 9.95. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (9.95) without reaching the order (9.13), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Lufthansa stock price edged up after the carrier was forced to cancel hundreds of flight due to IT outage. Will the Lufthansa stock price continue advancing?
German carrier Deutsche Lufthansa AG reported more than 200 cancellations on Wednesday, caused by a severed telecommunications cable. Deutche Telekom, Germany’s main telecom provider, confirmed that a cable was cut during the drilling on a Frankfurt railway line extension Tuesday evening, during which a Deutsche Telekom fiber optic cable bundle was cut. However, Lufthansa stock price closed 0.08% higher on the day after flight cancellations. The next day there were reports Lufthansa plans to cancel 34,000 flights in the second half of the year. Furthermore, the number of actual cancellations can be higher "as further daily cancellations can always be added." Lower expected flights number is bearish for airline stock price.
